Reynobond FR includes a fire-retardant mineral core that guarantees higher resistance to fire. These panels meet or exceed national model building code requirements without exception.
1300m2 of Optima Horizontal Cladding (HC) was chosen for the brand-new Ayr Academy School, a £25m new build on the town’s Craigie Estate in South Ayrshire. Manufactured in a Copper Patina `Look` ACM, the HC rainscreen cladding system, gives a neat linear panel design, meeting the architects vision and expectations. As Sotech’s first Optima HC project in Scotland, the team worked closely with the Procladd design team from the start meaning they were able to work together to propose a system which was both cost effective and easily adapted to the Architect’s panel layout.
Selected because it offers a stable rainscreen system for landscape applications, Procladd`s site team were extremely happy with the Optima HC system and in their words said: “It was one of the best systems they had fitted”. Fully tested and certified to meet CWCT specifications, Optima HC is a cost effective rainscreen solution which was developed as an alternative to a complete secret fix system. The superior manufacturing techniques ensure the accuracy of the panel’s size and form, allowing a pristine appearance with no build up of metal thickness at the cruciform joint.
Sotech’s commitment to authentic engineering capability has been witnessed over several years in the testing of products as they are being developed.
From the earliest Optima TFC designs tested at BRE, Garston for wind serviceability and safety, air permeability and water penetration for Erie Basin, Manchester project.
