Optima Rainscreen:

The Optima TFC system was chosen for the main perforated façade due to its ability to deliver outstanding flatness and precise joint alignment, ensuring a flawless visual finish that aligned perfectly with the architectural design. The system’s quick and straightforward installation process further streamlined the project, minimising disruption on-site.

In addition, the Optima FC and IPC systems were selected to provide flexibility and durability, seamlessly integrating with the broader façade design and ensuring compliance with the highest fire safety and performance standards.

The façade’s finishes, Gold Splendour Y2205L and RAL 7016, were specified for their premium appearance and excellent weather resistance, offering both long-term durability and a bold, modern aesthetic.

Excellence in Collaboration

Sotech worked closely with Walsin throughout the project, starting at the tender stage to develop a tailored solution that met the project’s architectural specifications, schedule, and budget. This collaborative approach ensured seamless communication between Walsin’s estimating, pre-contract, and design teams, and Sotech’s technical experts.

Testimonials:

Jamie Brown, Business Development Manager at Sotech, commented:

“Walsin collaborated with Sotech from the tender stage to develop a solution that aligned with the architectural specifications, schedule, and budget. Fire Safety and Performance:

As with all Sotech systems, the Optima range used in this project was rigorously tested for performance and fire safety. Each system is compliant with UK fire safety regulations, including testing to BS8414-2 standards and classification under BR 135 in specific configurations, making them suitable for high-rise and sensitive projects. With over 40 years of expertise, Sotech’s commitment to fire-safe, non-combustible materials guarantees safety without compromising on design.
