Sotech were engaged by Charles Henshaw to produce over 2000 square meters of rainscreen cladding for the new OneSubsea building in Aberdeen. OneSubsea is the world’s leading provider of flow equipment products, systems and services to the oil, gas and process industries.
The Sotech Optima FC Rainscreen was selected for the project as secret fix solution was required. The Optima FC Rainscreen presents a pristine appearance without the use of visible fixings, due to the precise coordination between panel and substructure.
Large flat format cassette panels were used on the building, finished in RAL 7016 Larson ACM, and Sotech was able to advice on the optimum panel size for cost efficiency.
