Job Vacancy: Trainee Estimator – Rainscreen Facades / Architectural Fabrications

Sotech is at the forefront of rainscreen cladding design, having developed a comprehensive suite of systems able to support natural materials such as copper, zinc, stainless steel and aluminium, as well as aluminium composite material, our systems provide architects and specifiers an almost limitless choice, enabling their individual design intent to be fully realised.

Due to substantial workload, we are currently looking to recruit a Trainee Estimator to join our team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone with the correct aptitude and willing for this role.

The Role:

Preparing professional comprehensive quotations for clients.
Obtaining quotes and technical information from supply chain.
Interpreting specifications and measuring drawings.
Pricing variations and site instructions.
Following up on tender enquiries.
General administration duties.

Full training will be provided internally for the successful candidate.

The Person:

The successful applicant will have to be extremely organised and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, along with the ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word to a good standard.

They need to have a good attention to detail, the ability to stay calm under pressure, be good at juggling tasks, prioritising and be a great team player with a keen to learn attitude.
