Sotech is an employer rooted in the community with a member of the management team being a Governor of Apollo Studio Academy, a school dedicated to blending academic study with the practical world of work. Sotech also has a presence on the steering group of Peterlee Business Park Steering Group, run by Business Durham.
Sotech regards Business Durham as a key route to local and government information and support in a wide range of topics from sourcing funding, apprenticeship support and advice, local factors such as lobbying for increased broadband speeds to directing the business to funding and finance opportunities and local business community engagement.
