CWCT Sequence B Testing SCOPE
Our cladding systems were tested by UL Solutions using the CWCT Sequence B protocol, which includes the following:
Water Penetration – Static Pressure
Water is sprayed on the façade while increasing air pressure is applied behind the system, identifying leaks not visible under normal rain exposure.
Water Penetration – Dynamic Pressure
Simulates high winds driving rain at angles and speeds that mimic extreme weather events.
Air Leakage Testing
Tests the façade for unwanted airflow under pressure, a key factor in energy efficiency and indoor comfort.
Dynamic Wind Load Testing
Applies repeated cycles of positive and negative wind pressures to test structural resilience and fixings.
Serviceability & Safety Testing
Additional pressures are applied to simulate events such as strong gales or building sway, ensuring the system can safely deform without failure.
