Sotech recently provided our Optima TFC Through Fix Cassette rainscreen system for New Festival Quarter, a residential project that was nominated for Best Large Development at the First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards 2015.
Working with installers BR Hodgson, New Festival Quarter is a regeneration project of a disused site, now comprising of 502 new homes and other community facilities.
Located in Poplar, East London, this project required 1600sqm of our Optima TFC rainscreen chosen because it’s extremely economical and simple to install.
Using a sunrise silver metallic finish, in an Alucobond ACM, the rainscreen creates a strikingly bright and reflective silver strip across the top of the 4 apartment blocks in the development.
Part of Bellways Homes’ portfolio, the rainscreen system used for this residential development was required to be NHBC approved.
